Units are available from ½ through 30 hp and both splash lubricated and pressure lubricated in design. Packages are available in either base-mounted or tank-mounted arrangements and can be customized to meet almost any application.
Rotary Screw Compressors
Rotary screw compressors are the most popular type of air compressor for the majority of industrial applications. They are designed for 100% duty cycle and are quieter in operation than reciprocating units. Zorn offers the most reliable and efficient oil flooded rotary screw compressors in the industry from Quincy, CompAir, C-P and Curtis. Units are available in 5 through 350 hp with pressures up to 210 psig. Control types include inlet modulation, load/no load, variable displacement, and variable speed drive.
Rotary Vane
Rotary Vane air compressors use a single rotor with sliding vanes to compress air. They are direct drive units that run at relatively low speeds and low noise levels. Vane units are a versatile, cost-effective solution to almost any application. Zorn offers rotary vane compressors from CompAir in 2 through 50 hp with pressures to 150 psig.
